the big orange one looks fun to hang onto, but ask Crystal Charm if she could tell you a little about the nature of gemstone enchanting so you’ve got a better ballpark for what gem you’d like to keep if any.

You ask Crystal Charm to identify the gemstones first, then you’ll decide if you want to keep any.

Crystal Charm: “Alright! Let’s get started, then.

You found six amethysts. These are healing stones that can help cure your body from status effects.

Two aquamarines. These are versatile gems that can help you hear and see better, swim faster, or even breathe while you’re underwater.

I’m counting five cinnamon stones. These can make items lighter, but also more fragile. They’re rather common, but not very popular.

Two citrines. These are healing stones that can help cure your mind from status effects. While they conflict with amethysts, there exists a rare kind of gemstone called ametrine that’s like citrine and amethyst combined. Neat, huh?

Here’s one diamond. These can increase the hardness of items, making them nearly unbreakable.

Three fire topazes. These can make items warm, but not flaming hot like rubies do.

Two ice topazes. These can make items cool, but not icy cold like sapphires do. You know how it goes!

This one is a light peridot. These are versatile gems that increase the overall efficiency of items. The darker peridots are, the better.

Three malachites. These can shield you from magic attacks, but they usually break upon use.

Finally, these are three pink sapphires. These can shield you from attacks, and unlike normal sapphires, they aren’t icy.

Looks like that’s all of them! I can enchant any of your items for three bits each, or five bits for two.”
