Policemen and Soldiers are trained professionals, they should know that their work can kill them. Of course, construction workers can get hurt badly or killed as well, but there’s no one out to kill them.
Oh yes, turning little kids into stone is justified. You’re right. Next time Sweetie Belle is stealing a cookie from the cookie jar it’s two weeks of stone for her. Good idea, sounds pretty harmonic. They’re kids. Even what Cozy did is much more than just stealing a cookie, she still doesn’t deserve what happened to her.
In season 9 (If we even take that season as canon) Grogars’s bell sucked all magic out of him. Why didn’t they invent something like that? The baddies seem to handle sucking the magic out of everything pretty well, chaotic or not. So like I said, why not removing the magic from him and put him in court, or try to befriend him then?
Lunas’ banishment is reasonable, but it still shows how good Celestia perceives the world. She probably enjoyed every minute of the spotlight. I mean, they’re sisters living in the same castle and she only notices how sad her sister is when it is too late? Yeah, of course, haha, no.
Sunset Shimmer wasn’t banished, she just ran away, to a different dimension. So that’s not really a punishment.
The sad thing is, if we take a redemption, like for example the one of Starlight Glimmer, then it doesn’t really makes sense at all, what they did to Cozy. Glimmer tinkered with time and space just because her childhood friend left her. Wow, just wow. And she gets no punishment? Doesn’t have to go to Tartarus? She even becomes the pupil of the princess of friendship, and a filly has to serve a sentence in prison and gets turned to stone afterward? In what kind of twisted reality do these princesses live in?
You pro Cozy whine bags are on a roll now. Twilight could have been killed? Oh no! So we should not have policemen, soldiers, construction workers or floor washers, because THEY COULD BE KILLED. As for the various banishments, Discord was turned to stone for spreading chaos and disrupting the world. Luna was sent to the moon for trying to lock the world in eternal night. Sunset Shimmer banished herself to human world and Sombra was literally the Emperor. Don’t tell me these punishments were not justified.
Just a reminder that Celestia send Twilight to various missions where she could’ve died. She just believed that she could do it, but what if she had failed? Also, she banishes everything and everyone to stone, to the moon, and to different dimensions. She is/was a terrible ruler.
