Story:  
Duke Hunter was born as the second heir to the Crystal Empires throne, and Flurry Hearts “understudy”. As a filly, he would follow his father around everywhere, copying his every move, noting his every tone of voice, and trying his best to end up like him when he got bigger. Alas, Duke did not have Shining Armours attention like Shining had Dukes, instead Shining Armour was always focused on his eldest, the alicorn born, Flurry Heart. At first, he was okay with it, she was older after all, but as time went on his parents started neglecting him more and more, giving all their focus to Flurry. This only meant that he would have to try three times as hard to prove himself.
 
That’s what he did; he got strong and keen, practicing for battle everyday with the guards. However, this still did not catch the attention that he craved. The people of the Crystal Empire basically pushed him aside and out of the light to make room for Flurry Heart, when in reality there was enough room for both of them. A cold feeling wrapped around his heart, his admiration for his sister went away in the gust of wind that brought along with it, envy and withdrawal. He pulled away from his family, skipping meals and spending most of his time fighting.
 
After this, he found himself sinking into a place where it would be hard to come out of. He developed depression, and the lonesome nights and empty meals were contributing. He cried himself to sleep most nights, thinking to himself “Why am I not good enough” over and over and over again. However, as much as he wanted to mend his relationship with his family, seeing them, especially Flurry Heart, made anger deep into him. He found himself lashing out in the comfort of his room, falling asleep right now.
 
The days for him seem long, putting on a fake smile that he tries with all his effort to muster, a smile that is ignored. Flurry Heart continues to unconsciously worsen Duke Hunter, but Duke just keeps quiet, and smiles to the crowd.

-Astral Comet is the only person in his family who he thinks gets him. His closet bond is with him.
 
-As a filly he tried to get the same scar that his father had across his muzzle, but got in major trouble because of it.
