On average birds are quite good at recognizing their reflections compared to mammals.

11 months ago Still it’s funny to imagine. I have two parrots and they don’t generally do a good job of recognizing reflections as themselves. E.G, they try to attack it.

11 months ago ^I think the common consensus is that they’re not attacking it they’re trying to drink it because they think it’s a pool of water (where they would normally see a reflection)
