Fair ‘nuff. Haven’t seen Frisky Dingo to compare. I like F. Jon Benjamin’s voice acting, so Archer’s got that going for it at least.
I’ve been tempted, but from what I did catch it mostly just felt like Frisky Dingo but with different characters, so it wasn’t that high on my list of stuff to watch.
Patrick Warburton is just too much man to handle. :D
“Archer” has a pretty similar vibe of appeal – especially in the rapid-fire reference-loaded snappy dialogue department – including a multi-episode guest shot by Warburton. Recommended for Venture Bros. fans, if you haven’t checked it out already.
The dialogue is just… fucking AMAZING. Almost every single episode is overflowing with amazing, quotable lines. And it has Patric Warburton! How can you not love it?
Agreed! There’s a whole lot of clever packed into it. According to Jackson Publick’s blog (LiveJournal? Really?) it’ll be out sometime between mid-March and May. Squee!

Oh dear, I hadn’t considered that the image is technically spoilery for season 4 of Venture Bros. Oh well… at least I didn’t reveal the character who’s being subbed for by Derpy here. ;)
