Celestia meanwhile is more like a Starfleet captain she would rather use words and her mind to win battles. Violence is the.very last thing on her mind but watch out because if you harm her ponys in anyway she will break you in Haft

How the scene should have played out:
 
Celestia: “…But now that you have so foolishly revealed yourself, I can protect my subjects from you!” beam
 
Chrysalis: does NOT initiate a beam struggle. Instead, she deflects Celestia’s beam in the general direction of everyone at the wedding, causing them to all flee in terror.  
“HAHAHA! Oh Princess, did you REALLY think I would so ‘foolishly reveal myself’ if I didn’t think I stood a chance? Shining Armor’s love for Cadance is stronger than you can imagine. Consuming it has made me even more powerful than YOU!” Fires her own beam
 
Celestia: puts up a shield just in the nick of time, and is knocked back by the beam, but not knocked out.
 
“Gah! Twilight, the Elements! Go, get them, NOW! Cadance, get Shining Armor out of here! I’ll take care of the Queen.”
 
Twilight and friends run out, and Cadance grabs Shining Armor and starts to flee, but is stopped by Chrysalis
 
Chrysalis: “And where do you think YOU’RE going? He is MINE now- GAH!” is blasted out of the way from behind, revealing a royally (pun intended) pissed-off Celestia, ready for a fight
 
Celestia: “No. You’re MINE, foolish creature.”
 
THEN we get the Mane six’s fight scene, and the scene after that, instead of opening to Celestia in a cocoon, opens to an epic fight scene in the castle, the one we deserved. How it plays out from there… well, Celestia is probably ultimately defeated and Cadance restores Shining armor just in the nick of time for them to perform their power of love spell and stop Chrysalis from finishing Celestia off or something like that. Use your imagination.

Remember those days when the season finale was getting dressed up in pretty dresses and completely ignoring everything you learned in that season?
 
I’m glad we’ve gotten to fighting evil insectoid succubi and working out ancient spells. If it weren’t for Daniel Ingram, the S1 finale would have been a snoozefest.

Celestia’s just too nice and calm to be a badass. Luna is someone who I think would, if needed, be downright bloodthirsty and could go absolutely medieval on someone if necessary.
