And how do you know that she can’t grow up to realize how dumb her original plan was and, with some help, change for the better? The fact that she’s still a child should be more of a reason to try and reform her as soon as possible.

Maybe it has something to due with the facts that she’s a child and yet has the mindset of a psychopathic dictator. If she’s that evil now, imagine what she’ll be like as an adult. Luckily Equestria doesn’t have to worry about that anymore

Its annoying that some villains got several seasons and many chances and some did not. Like in Rarity investigates, that guy did 1 bad thing and UP evil for life! While other characters caused years of suffering and are let off.
 
I feel the script was not written to be that consistent. I still don’t understand why I always see such vicious attacks on Cozy and not really any other villain.

We talk about the finale because its a very relevant discussion topic in the fandom. To many, it ruined characters and was a slap in the face. It’s that simple. Do you think the opposition enjoys coming up with reasons to justify what happened to the trio or ways to defend Discord no matter what he did?

I get what you’re saying and I respect your opinion. You don’t have to forgive him if you don’t want to. I just felt like it’d be better if you did.

Maybe not, but he almost did anyway. Still, you want me to forgive him? He’ll have to do one of two things:  
A. Reverse time and never put that idiot plan into action in the first place.  
B. Release the villains from their stone prison after a few months and be their personal redemption tutor with Starlight as their main teacher.

I understand. He didn’t intentionally try to break Twilight mentally beyond repair, though.

They only got mad at him for making a big mess, not the fact that he might’ve broken Twilight mentally beyond repair or the fact that he broke the law and committed treason while simultaneously using three individuals as mere playthings for a cause and not giving a single flying feather about their growth or development. They might forgive him, but I won’t. Not yet, at least.

Well, the characters in the show didn’t pretend he did nothing wrong, but they forgave him nonetheless because he, in my opinion at least, made up for it and the characters thought he did, too. Also, I don’t really see why you feel like you have to do this all the time.

It’s just, I understand you dislike the finale, but I’m not insulting nor making fun of you guys. I just want to explain that there’s nothing you can ever do to change what happened and I care about the happiness and well-being of others. I can only tolerate people doing this nonstop if they enjoy it.

Let me answer it with this question: Does randomly making fun of, insulting and saying things like this to those that did not enjoy what happened in the finale truly make you happy? Here’s another question: What do posts like this add to any conversation?

I did not talk about Starlight’s time travelling escapade, although that is something she did do and can be put against her. I’m talking about that time she attacked three of her villagers, hence the attempted murder.

Nope. We see in season 8. She is very mature for her age, she is in full control of herself and aided Tirek and Chrysalis of her own free will. She is not “used” by anyone

No one as far as we know? By that logic, we can ask how many ponies died as a result of Discord’s chaos shenanigans and if were talking about attempted murder, then just look at what Starlight did. If those two deserve a second chance, then the child does as well, even more so.
