I do honestly worry the new show might put a damper on humanized fanart. I always love seeing artist’s different interpretations and I fear the need to experiment and imagine humanized versions might be offset by “official” humanized versions.

The Tastiest
I’m not overly concerned, with it being a non-canon spinoff, but I think the borderline anthro appearance of the girls, plus the possibility of siphoning creative resources from the main show, it worries me.

I have seen more stuff where people are complaining “oh no, more drama is coming!” than I have actual complaints about Equestria Girls. And this is coming from someone who is an adamant hater of Alicorn Twilight Sparkle, so it’s not like I think my hands are clean of participating in the recent pony drama.
