Bio:  
Seasmoke is the adopted son of one of Equestria’s more interesting couples: Yona the yak, and Sandbar the earth pony. After a few years of marriage and teaching at Twilight Sparkle’s School of Friendship, the two began longing for a foal of their own. During a trip to Mount Aris to visit the hippogriffs, Silverstream and Skystar introduce them to one of their older orphans: paraplegic Seasmoke. The moment he approached them shyly, the little wheels on his chair squeaking slightly, Yona excitedly proclaimed that he was to show them all around Mount Aris. After a day of the quiet, but sweet hippogriff pointing out different landmarks, sharing new and delicious dishes, and swiftly coming to like each other, the couple tells him that he was perfect and asked if the little fella wanted to come home with them. After some obviously deep thought, he quietly accepts. At age fifteen, he is whisked away to the quiet countryside village of Ponyville, and thus, becomes a permanent (albeit introverted) member of the gang.
 
 
At times, it can be difficult to nigh impossible to read the mysterious and stoic hippogriff. He usually wears a deadpan, stony expression and speaks in a quiet, impassive drawl. However, if one is willing to stick around long enough to get used to his grumpy demeanor, Seasmoke is actually quite an interesting character. Though he has no cutie mark like his pony companions, he has a deep, lifelong adoration and passion for floral arrangements and flowers themselves. He works diligently in Roseluck’s local florists shop (although a certain pink party pony has tried to recruit him for her business more than once) creating stunning and splendid wreaths, centerpieces, corsages, you name it. Once he feels comfortable enough with a certain creature, he talk on and on about flowers and the meanings behind them, how each arrangement he creates tells a different story. He also quite enjoys incorporating those stories into claw-written poems. However, it might be best if one ignores the fact he utilizes a wheelchair altogether.
