Sunset Shimmer and Sci-Twi went to fetch some clothes and disguised themselves as civilian-attired versions of their demon forms so they could go to the Villain Convention and retrieve a DNAlyzer to help their friends with their mermaid problem. They proceeded to go to the convention center.They cleared security and checked in as “Sunset Satan” and “Midnight Sparkle”. Sunset was already on the mailing list, thanks to Pinkie Pie’s subscription, so they checked in and wandered around the stands without incident.
 
They walked through a hallway filled with various ray weapons, chains of all sizes and materials, and an assorted selection of tanks, from the very basic LOLTraktor, to WW2 antique ones (even a KV-2 in mint condition) to prototypes. Sunset chuckled at the “DERP” inscription written in the turret of several ones. After several minutes around, SciTwi and Sunset arrived at the Hench-Co stand. They were greeted by a man in his late 50’s, wearing an Italian suit, who quickly introduced himself as Jack.  
“Hello ladies. How can I best serve your worst deeds?” said Jack  
“Greetings sir. We are Sunset Satan and Midnight Sparkle, we are very interested in buying a DNAlyzer, from your recent catalog…. I am on the mailing list” said Sunset, not sure if being amicable was the best approach or resorting to her old alpha-b*tch ways was better.  
“Ah, the good trusty DNAlyzer. Of course we have them. However, I am not very familiar with your job… Could you tell me more about yourselves and your specialty?”  
“We…. uh… destroy schools…. and…. open portals of madness in the very fabric of reality?” said Sci-Twi, embarrassing herself.  
“I see… So you are interested in all things mad-science and experimentation. That is a very ambitious and noble career path, but a long one. So, don’t worry ladies, I understand novice villains and we have the perfect products for your upstart villain duo. We can begin with a free-of-charge initial villain assessment. We can measure your evil-levels! Please stand near this machine, The Evil-O’-Meter” said Jack, following up with his sales routine.  
“Yeah, sure” Said Sunset, overwhelmed and smiling. They really built an entire industry around wannabe villains and mad scientists… However, something was bugging her mind as she approached the measurement machine…. Was she still evil? Was it still inside her? She had what it took, to be a villain again? Or years of beautiful, magnificent friendship and love of her friends had erased all her past and will BLOW their cover? She closed her eyes as she stood on the platform.  
“Please, just stay near the bar, you do not have to touch anything, the machine will detect your good and bad energies and measure you overall level. We used to have a lever-action Evil-O-meter, but it was destroyed several years ago in Tri-City area… there… stand…. steady… go.” Said Jack, absolutely on his role. The guy enjoyed his job, it seemed.  
Sunset Shimmer opened her eyes and was baffled with the reading: “High School Bully”  
“Really?” exclaimed sunset, absolutely offended with the result. “I was expecting at least…” started Sunset, before she was interrupted by a insinuating cough, both Jack and Sunset looked at Sci-Twi, who was placing her hand on a machine, that had a very big “H” logo and a plate.
 
“Sunny, you should try this one. This feels so… liberating….” said Sci-Twi, slyly and perhaps a bit too sensually… her glasses already gone and her skin becoming very very purple. She smiled.  
“Ah, excellent choice, Miss Midnight, I see you found our demonstrator for the new Attitudinator. We do not have the full portable version around, since our customers tend to steal it. How do you feel? Would you like to test your evil-levels?…. Oh never mind, the machine already detected. Congratulations”
 
Sunset stood there, making a face that resonated through the multiverse
 
“I see…”

i realize the artist probably was trying for a Midnight Sparkle look, but i just do not think of her looking at Twilight here. I think of of a girl who was convinced to try a new look.
