Nightmare Moon thought she was gone for good, having been stopped by the overwhelming magic of friendship reforming what was the once lost Princess Luna. However it seemed the villainess barely survived, finding herself now separated as her own entity long after Luna had returned and grown. Feeling weaker than she was before, Nightmare Moon was unsure on what to do. Her host was gone and she was no longer powerful enough to fully possess a new host, so the most she has done was travel into dreams like Luna, just watching from afar as she remains by her lonesome. She would sometimes have to flee as her presence would affect the dream, the mare not wanting to encounter her now stronger former host. That was when she came across a pony that was having interest in her.
The stallion she watched had some historical books with him, and it surprised Nightmare that he was reading about her, intrigued by her abilities and appearance. The mare cooed as she kept an eye on him days after, seeing what he dreams of and watching him have some infatuation of sorts as he read. There was no doubt that she was powerful, tempting, with a nightly beauty to make the stallion swoon. Nightmare Moon saw him blush as he got lost in the historical images of her, the alicorn giving a flirty, sinister smile. Once it was nighttime and the pony went to bed, Nightmare Moon took herself into his dream again, taking him to a place she knew fondly. At the ruins of the old castle, the stallion was surprised to see the graceful alicorn standing before him, the mare taking a closer look and finding him to be a rather cute pony. She told him of her awareness towards his love for her, and with her having no pony to possess or accompany, she has now found herself a loyal subject and was wanting to return the favor.
The alicorn wasn’t strong enough for what she would usually do with her magic, but she at least had enough energy to change some things in dreams. For the stallion, she changed herself from a beautiful mare into a lengthy cobra with silky black and blue coils. She teased that he has seen some of his more questionable and fascinating dreams, knowing full well what would please him. Without hesitation, Nightmare coiled him up, putting him in her thick cocoon as she began to hypnotize him. He saw her beautiful blue rings, getting lost in them as his mind was being bound to her will. The pony was now hers, the serpent kissing his cheek and nuzzling him, brushing his mane with her tail. That was when she felt her stomach growling. She was an entity, not having a need for food at all, but the new form must have made her eager to eat. Smiling, she gives the pony one last kiss as she vows to eat him each night in his dreams, promising a snug sleep in both her dreamy belly and in real life. Gulping him down, the mare sighed blissfully, resting her head on the soft bulge as the stallion in bed curled into the blankets, smiling and blushing.
