Valve might actually make VR good. If anyone can, they could. I’m not saying for sure, but they could. Maybe they want to be at the forefront of Full-Dive VR games like in anime! X

I apologize if my comments came off as a personal attack, as that was never my intention! I came from a place of frustration, mostly because at the time of seeing this I was rather tired and had also recently dealt with someone who wanted to commission me to flat out draw Rarity and just rename her to something else. Again, I apologize if my comments came off a bit too blunt or came off as a personal attack, I don’t have anything against you! In fact, I’ve looked at some of your art, and I do like it. I’m glad you don’t hate me, it certainly felt that way with the random tags on some of my own art. Personally I don’t think she’s a shitty OC, but I feel she doesn’t quite fit on Derpi either as she’s barely a pony. Again, that’s just my personal opinion! I can see what you mean and understand how you feel about her, as I feel the same way with some of my own OCs. They’re precious to me, and I can see that she’s precious to you too.
 
I’m going to hide her tag on my personal filter and leave ya be. I’m glad things didn’t get too heated, I do like your art, even if I don’t agree with the tags <3 Hope you have a good day!

hey! I don’t think you hate me, i did react a bit initially seeing your comments, because to me I fully believe that she should have her own tag since she’s not just a random ‘keldeo’.  
You are entitled to your own opinion, and it’s perfectly fine to share that. I got no problem if you happen to think Keldia is a shitty OC haha, but the point still stands that she is an original spinoff of Keldeo with her own character interactions, personality, backstory, and minor switchups in design.  
I have the tag for people who would like to solely look for this character in particular, even if i am devoid of a bit of creativity in the whole design factor, I’m just here to have fun and make art and interactions with other people’s OCs!  
In today’s OC environment, it’s nearly impossible to have a fully original design without overdoing it to the point where that OC is no longer simple or fun to draw. It’s for that exact reason that you see our community collecting examples of OCs that they believe have copied off one of another, and we bicker over the originality of our designs. Personally I think that it’s fine to take inspiration and make minor adjustments to characters in the search for a fun character that really means something to the one who created it, and especially if it is well-liked by others.
 
anyways, feel free to call Keldia unoriginal! to me, that word means nothing in my heart, because I love her, and my friends do too.

I get that, and again I want to say beforehand, I have no issues against the artist, but they already seem to think I hate them.
 
I have an issue with “OCs” that are barely OCs. This is just a Keldeo that was slapped on to a pony body and the name? It’s literally only two letters away from being the species name.
 
It’s like taking a canon character and just renaming them or just flat out claiming them as your OC.
 
For example, take the oc tag “nightmena”. If you look at the tag, you’ll see that someone literally just took pinkamena Diane pie and renamed her, and its hardly original.
 
This whole situation may cause the artist and many others to not like me, but I’m allowed to have my opinion and I do not think OCs that are barely OCs should be given the oc tag.

I get that, but I’m talking about this image. This image has tags for commission info when it doesn’t have commission info on it. It’s just a drawing of a Keldeo talking to Gabe N
 
I have no issues with the artist, rather the image. Not only does it have misleading tags (should have something like “commission info in the source/description”) but it has an oc tag for an “OC” that’s really just Keldeo ponified. Normally I don’t let things bother me, but this image is misleading and has a tag for something that’s not really there

VR is amazing but it sucks in its current form even if you buy the most expensive thing on the market.  
The resolution just needs to be severely higher, same with fov and fps. The resolution is already really high but you can EASILY see pixels and the colors suck. Honestly you need 8k on every eye and like 144+ fps if you want it to be really immersive. So its probably gonna take like 100 more years until we have that kind of computing power and hardware power for relatively cheap price. I mean we can probably just connect our brain to VR anyway by then. But VR really needs insane specs to look good..

Nope. VR is a worthless gimmick and Valve should be ashamed of making us wait so long for HL3 and giving us this Alyx junk instead.
