Hey Hey! Now that I’m not under NDA, I can make and sell EG Fan Art! If you’re interested in buying something from me, follow the link to my first set of prints https://t.co/QXFMpoHSi2 https://t.co/8I9QR6GtwH
A few hours after she posted these on Twitter, she mentioned being surprised how many have been purchased already. I assume they’re selling fine. Anyway, this is pretty standard for professional artists, selling prints for $50+. I assume lots of people would want prints from someone who worked on the show.
and why would anyone with a brain in their head pay $55 for a mediocre picture of scitwi?
All hundreds of artists that have been doing this for a decade dont charge anything for their art. This is locking your art behind a paywall and profiting by selling fan art of a character that does not even belong to them.
The image without watermarks is available for sale at the source link for $55
Ill say it again. You can have a water mark without ruin your picture with it. Look at literally all the popular artists, They all have non obtrusive watermarks so their art is protected without ruining it.
You can have a watermark without it covering the entire picture. You know…. like literally everyone else does.
If you are so scared of “art thieves” that you have to ruin your own picture to protect it then why even bother.
No, this is just to keep art thieves from taking it and using it themselves.

The staff has posted a ton of fan art from their time on the show, they’re just not allowed to sell it.
Just because it’s posted on the internet, doesn’t mean you are entitled to it. This was made with the intent of being sold. Don’t like watermarks? Don’t support art thieves and ratchet down the entitlement.
But then there really isn’t any point in posting it in the first place if they’re going to ruin the piece with a watermark
Artists have to protect themselves, friend. It’s way too easy for bots to swoop in, and copy/paste these onto a t-shirt.
