In French inches he was 5 foot 2, but in British inches (the ones we’re more familiar with) he was 5 foot 7. British propaganda during the war purposefully mistranslated his height to mock him, as he was spreading the metric system across Europe as part of his conquests, so people would know he was actually and specifically 168cm tall.
