well jim says li’l cheese is a colt because the Script use male description words (which it does) although the actual episode itself does not reference the gender because it was not important according to the writer they wasn’t actually meant to reference gender

He has repeatedly, directly, and unambiguously stated that Li’l Cheese is a colt on many, many occasions. He’s had to repeat it over and over again, because some people absolute refuse to pull their heads out of their bigotry and get the hell over themselves.

Is not that he said Lil’ Cheese was a colt they just said that they didn’t assign a gender to the foal so they went for a generic he on the scrip but the animators just reused filly Pinkie re-colorized, Lil’ Cheese has a Schrodinger gender, the artist who makes the picture decides either she is a filly or a colt. As far as I’m concerned I don’t particularity go for one way or another since either we got a cute little filly or a cute trap and I like both.
