Description
Mulberry politely declines again. The gryphon’s grip is warm and inviting, but she drops the mare’s forelegs and backs away, strutting.
“Well if you change your mind, you know where I am!” She says with a backwards wave.
Before she leaves, Mulberry turns to her husband and asks if he plays any other instruments.
“Nope! Just the piano, and I only play when she wants to dance!”
“How long have you guys been going?”
He doesn’t answer for a bit, so she decides she should probably leave.
Mulberry steps slowly back into the attic. What strange people. She glances above door there is a small brass plaque that reads “Emilia & Solstice”, then notes their office hours of 4am-6pm.
She heads downstairs and behind the counter, taking a pair of keys to room “104”,.
Mulberry then pauses for a moment, and grabs the keys for “204” and “210” as well. She notices that the key for room “106” is missing. She also spies a small ring of keys. These are different from the room keys. The room’s are flat and nearly identical except for the blue tags indicating the room. The keyring’s are all different shapes and sizes, and some are clearly quite older and hand pressed.
She begins to step back up to her room, but then glaces to the door. Antione is still out there somewhere. While a rest does sound nice, she isn’t sure she could relax with the thought of her insane fiance stalking around. Perhaps she should go to the City Hall first?
