Alas our last rock horse (Pinkie is a pie horse lol)

- Tweaked the design again to more a bulky rugged work horse. Markings closer to the Apple branches of the family.
- Maud Rock Pie is the eldest of the Rock Family and the only one who actually holds a passion for geology as a whole. As the eldest it was her responsibility to look after the youner ones and to set an example. Igneous had pride in her stoic and serious personality.
However while he believed that she worked hard to please him, Maud’s real reasons for keeping her father happy was so he would lay off her sisters. If he was satisfied with her behaviour he would stop singling out Pinkie for everything and ignoring Limestone.
- From am early age Maud has developed a thick skin both literally and figuratively. Sharp words often lose their edge when spoken to her and it takes a great effort to graze her intentionally.
- Maud does not often have others disagree with her. Most likely because they are often too intimidated. So she values any sort of contact from those who are actully comfortable around her. Mudbriar was the first non relative to do this from the beginning. With the simplicity of having like personalities it was very easy for them to put a label to their relationship.
Their relationship ran very smoothly and Maud was, content. But after a while she didn’t want to just be content anymore. She wanted something a bit more, but she wasn’t sure what. So after about a 2 year steady relationship, Maud and Mudbriar parted ways. On good terms of course.
- Maud and Rarity had worked together a number of times often accompanying each other in their usual tasks like rock studying and shopping. Despite the different levels of enthusiasm and different personalities, Maud really enjoys her time with the fashion pony. Rarity herself has no problem depending on Maud for support and opinions. This eventually leads to more feelings for each other.
- Maud acts as the metaphorical rock in the relationship. With her aloof nature she reminds Rarity that it’s sometimes easier to keep things simple. It’s particularly helpful whenever Rarity is over thinking and begins to panic.
- Though she may not look it, Maud is excellent for emotional support and is a great listener.
- So Maud and Rarity develop a deep liking for each other and are in a happy supportive relationship with each other. Rarity is aware that Maud wants to be the one to eventually pop the question but Maud likes to keep her girl guessing. Nevertheless to keep her worry-wart girlfriend from believing she’s losing interest, Maud surprises her by dressing up and taking her to surprise events and resturaunts.
- When she does propose, Maud brings out a ring she crafted herself from the most perfect rocks and gems she could find, and proposes under a newly gifted chandelier which she’s also crafted herself. The whole splendeur was romantic and Rarity will not admit how much she ugly cried.
- Both Maud and Rarity have a thing for each other in fancy states of dress. While Rarity swoons over Maud in sparkly gowns that show off her arms and thighs (or just limbs in general), Maud will simply lift her girl and lock themselves away for hours if Rarity presents herself in designer lingerie. Particularly if posed on her chaise longue.
