I don’t want to stir up drama, but let him do what he wants to do dude. If he doesn’t want to make one, then so be it, but yes Indigo it is basically like that.
A patreon doesn’t have to be a paywall or a commitment. Just let the people that want to support you support you as you go about your own thing, without a set schedule.
I think giving high-res versions of your animations exclusive to patrons would be a good solution for everyone and a great incentive to become a patron.
I’m alot busier than I used to be so I wouldn’t be able to maintain one. I also dont believe in paywalling SFM content.
Being able to do what I want when I want keeps things simple for me.

Maybe he feels bad for the people that can’t see his work through Patreon. In this case, people that can’t pay for it. If he did had Patreon, I wouldn’t mind supporting himself. That, or maybe it’s because he has free time to do this for us as he has other things in his life that we don’t know about.
Why don’t you set up a patreon?
I do but I don’t want to get into the habit of adding and removing people just for commissions.
