Diversity is always good, then you can appeal to a larger audience. You do nice work, for sure, makes me think of getting back into it a little bit for fun. Don’t worry about delayed replies, these things happen and I appreciate the conversation either way. I have to admit, I’d love to display one of your works on my wall or in the side of my computer case (shipping to Canada is generally less than ideal, though).

I used varnished solid copper wire, I found that worked rather well for the job. You can easily pull that from mains transformers if there isn’t a supplier in your area. Don’t get me wrong, I’m not trying to tell you what to do, do what works for you (and this is working very well, from what I see here).

Forgive me for long answering.
Mech warrior and anime girls is good. May be, i will make some shame stuff. Ponies is good and adprable, but if i want sell more of my crafts, i should make something else.

Same look way i use in my acryls. 0805 leds, 1206 resistors and wire from old headphones. But i choose this way, because it let use USB power.

This was in the early 2000’s.

Mostly anime girls or a selection of “mech warrior” type stuff, with a few things out of Quake thrown in for good measure. The lighting was done with SMD LEDs soldered onto thin wires run inside the outer frames (LED strip was pricey stuff in my area at the time) & the characters were carved into the acrylic with a dremel mounted on a modified bar plotter.

Come to think of it, I may have done a G1 pony at one point…

edit: When I say outer frames, I refer to the support frames for the side of a computer tower case at the time. My favorites were “full tower” units, standing around 24+ inches high, plenty of room on the side of those
