Fluttershy is my girl, without question. I love everything about her, and I can relate to her on so many levels, including our mutual love of animals, our typically shy and quiet demeanor, and even our fear of singing out loud or otherwise expressing ourselves in public. But beyond all that, I feel like I share a much deeper, more personal connection with her. In many ways, I feel like she’s the personification of a better, purer me, which often makes me feel the need to protect her, to gather her up in a warm hug and just cradle her like the precious little butterfly that she is.
 
Needless to say, it’s going to be very bittersweet to see her go. I really need to make this little girl for myself sometime.
