The dialogue system of this game is really good in that regard that you can express a wide variety of emotional reactions to the events of the game. One of those options is to whine about it, but I am with Psychopomf in that I never stopped gushing about how awesome being a cyborg is.

Here’s how the guy came off to me
“Sure the bio-augments are pretty chill by themselves, but the circumstances surrounding my acquisition of them are kinda suckish.”

Did he complain? I just played this game, and he came off to me like “meh, I guess it’s pretty cool.”

Could’ve been just me making him say all that, though…

Yeah, I don’t know what that dude’s problem was. People accuse Carth of being the biggest whiner in video games, but Carth at least had legit grievances. This guy complained about the fact that he got life saving super powers.

Despite how tempting it was to not ask for it, I made every occasion to talk about how cool my cyborgness was in dialogue.

You know, I really would have liked this game more if at some point they mentioned or examined the idea that our protagonist may have not been consenting to his superhuman upgrades.
