The two shorts with “the stupid babies” are Newborn Cuties and although technically a part of G3, they only make a small part at the end. G3 ran from 2003 to 2009. It went through two visual styles with the second one being referred to as G3.5
 
This is the series that introduces names like Rainbow Dash and Pinkie Pie and Rainbow Dash “always dresses in style”.

I didn’t think it was trying to imply that, I was just taking advantage of the opportunity to express my fears that G5 would be like this, which was long before I saw this picture.

It took a few years of pony but I’ve accepted people like him. Except for the fact that he wrote a story called “Friendship is BS” and called the pony fandom “freaks”. I resent him for that, but won’t judge him for his interest in what G5 Twilight is doing here. But I also have a friend on fimfiction who’s in that side of the fandom, though we do share a clean interest.

I think people are missing part of the joke here. Yes, this comic is obviously a fart joke, but it’s not trying to imply that G5 is going to be nothing but fart jokes. Rather, it’s making a fart joke out of the fact that G5 Earth Ponies (and I presume the other tribes as well, but they aren’t relevant here) can cast Cutie Mark spells with their Cutie Marks. These spells are based upon their Special Talents, and seeing as Earth Pony Twilight has the same CM as G4 Twi, that most likely means Earth Pony Twilight can essentially cheat and use her Cutie Mark like a Unicorn horn because her Special Talent is Magic.
 
The joke here is that, like a fart, G5 Twilight literally pulls magic out of her ass.

Just putting this out there, I want Scribbler to dub this comic.

They want something like Row 3? Really? Even though I really love Row 4 (they only need a few adjustments), 3’s designs look pretty cool. And that would mean we would have somebody from FiM besides Meghan in the production staff, since Kora Kosicka was the one who drew Row 3’s designs.

I wouldn’t mind more fight scenes, something more like Sailor Moon or Winx Club, especially if they’re not afraid to kill the villains off. IF there’s no cliffhangers or villains that stay undefeated forever. I would miss the fun slice of life episodes, but they obviously lost their touch when it comes to those, maybe that age of pony has ended, and we have over a hundred of them to revisit, many of which I will definitely rewatch.
 
I just don’t want excessive amounts of suggestive content like Family Guy has.

What I meant was I’d be disappointed if it was all fight scenes and fart jokes, @Background Pony #52B8

I don’t remember those series being mentioned. Gravity Falls was one of the examples used and there’s supposed to be more continuity between episodes compared to FiM.

Well, this design is an artist’s interpretation of an artist’s interpretation. All the G5 concept art so far haven’t been animated at all yet, so we don’t know the final design that’s going to be in G5. So rest assured, this inn’t anywhere close to what we’ll be seeing in a few years.
 
Tho, if you want a better idea, some of the leaked G5 art’s still on devaintart. Just search up “mlp G5 leaks - Mane 6 design concept”. The third row seems to be what they’ve decided on. Not too different from FiM, but with a distinct style of it’s own. Also Rainbow looks freackin’ awesome there.
