Description

I made this image for fun, but also to pay homage to this Nintendo console that I liked, it hurts me that the Wii U is the Nintendo console that lasted the least time while it was a good console

I don’t know, I actually kinda liked Star Fox Zero, even if it wasn’t as good as SF64, and had flaws. (Star Fox seems to be the one series Nintendo has constantly varrying quality on compared to most of their other series.)
You actually could use the control stick to aim, paired, or even without using the motion controls much, so it didn’t fully rely on just the motion controls like many claimed.
It was the closest thing to “Star Fox 64 2” that SF fans have wanted for years, (instead of Fox trying to be Link on a fantasy dinosaur world, or fighting the BORG from Star Trek, or becoming a space furry soap-opra) so it wasn’t that bad, but could’ve been better.

For that matter, I liked Star Fox Guard, as it was kinda creative, simple, challenging, and I liked the enemy designs.

Still, as I said, WiiU software/game sales were pretty good regardless, with quite a few million sellers. Some multi-console games like “Duck Tales Remastered” sold better on WiiU, in fact. (Makes you further question why “Disney Afternoon Collection,” which is 4 Capcom NES games were released for everything, except any Nintendo systems.)

The Dreamcast wasn’t bad either frankly. Plus, sales alone don’t dictate a console’s quality, profits, or popularity. Just because something isn’t as big seller as the Playstation 1, 2, and 4, doesn’t make it a total failure. In fact, honestly I prefer WiiU to PS4.

The Wii U Gamepad was good for some things but awful for others (like Star Fox Zero). And most importantly the battery life was really bad, so you have to constantly charge it unless you have an outlet next to where you sit or something. I remember you got to like the second world of a Mario game and it was already on red battery.

The amount sold was really bad. Not only was it lower then the GameCube (which was lower then the Nintendo 64) but it took most of its lifespan to sell more then the Dreamcast (which only lasted like two years).

The Wii wheel was kinda cool, even if it didn’t add much to the Wii-mote. Made racing a bit more fun. I liked how WiiU was also backwards compatible with all previous Wii controllers too. (Even WiiU Virtual Console SNES & GBA games could use a remote if you want, provided you custom the buttons)
Sadly something no new consoles ever do anymore. (And honestly, I don’t see much difference between say a PS3 or PS4 controller. I wish more consoles would do that as opposed to charging us $50-$80 for only one new wireless controller!)

thanks, what you said is really nice for this console. And otherwise, they do not find new super mario bros. U but at Mario kart 8 I that those SciTwi, Twilight Sparkle and Bonnie have no steering wheel but there were no models

I liked the WiiU too, it was pretty underrated, and the Game Pad controller was actually nicer then most critics made it out to be. (And helped inspire the Switch.) If it’s any comfort, the WiiU wasn’t a total failure like some claim. While console sales were low compared to others, (still sold 13 million, not bad) it had impressive software sales, Miiverse was popular, and such.
Plus, it was one of the few modern systems offering backwards compatibility, something that’s sadly dying with each new system.

Or New SMB U, and Freddy keeps trolling them by putting boxes in annoying places.
