Personality  
Son of Flash Sentry and Sunburst, Apollo is a mild-tempered stallion with a steadfast will and a kind heart. Apollo’s special talent revolves around truth-telling; as a Sun-aligned unicorn, he has the ability to compel ponies to tell the truth, although this becomes more difficult when the pony is using magic to try and prevent him from doing so. Apollo is gentle but can be aloof and withdrawn, maintaining an air of professionalism and detachment even in situations where this isn’t beneficial to him. This attitude can make it more difficult for Apollo to interact well with others, and he’s rather lonely as a result.
 
Relationships  
Apollo loves and cares for his parents deeply and enjoys spending time with them when he and his father aren’t busy with their Royal Guard duties. Apollo learned a lot about harnessing his powers from his other dad Sunburst and spent a great deal of time studying under him to learn more about how to properly utilize his magical abilities. Apollo also cares for his younger sister but doesn’t show it very well because of his general aloofness, and Swift Arrow cares about him but worries he doesn’t really care about her. Apollo spends a lot of time with Andromeda because he’s been assigned to guard her (even though she would go out of her way to evade him at first because she didn’t want a guard), and the two have quickly become good friends. Initially, Apollo also had a bit of a crush on her when they first met and he was assigned to guard her – however, the pair currently see each other as simply being friends. Apollo has a huge crush on Nyx and always turns into a nervous, blushing mess around him (Nyx is much smoother about his feelings towards the other stallion). Apollo will often spend time sparring and training with Nyx, since both of them are a part of the Royal Guard (Nyx is training for the Lunar Guard). Nyx admires Apollo’s steadfast attitude and kindness, and Apollo admires Nyx’s smooth charm and grace even in combat.
 
Extras  
Apollo is a surprisingly good singer, even though he doesn’t do it very often (Swift Arrow tries encouraging him to do it professionally, but he’s too nervous). Nyx is the best at getting him to open up and sing once in a while. Apollo plays the saxophone in a jazz ensemble when he’s not working as a Royal Guard. He tends to play in disguise for fear that ponies will recognize him otherwise – most of his ensemble realizes who he is, though.
