Using the spell she had been taught by Princess Celestia, Princess Twilight Sparkle, along with Rainbow Dash, arrive back on Earth in the hopes of finding their human friend; Matthew. Upon arrival though, Rainbow complains that there’s too much snow and it’s really cold, and she’s a weather pony for crying out loud.
 
Yes, this is the first of the ‘Battle for the Worlds’ illustrations. This one is from chapter 2, where as the illustration was completed on September 29th 2016, two months before the snow actually did arrive. Anyways, this is also the first of my ‘at night’ scenes, so it’s not as bright as it would be during daylight hours. One thing I would like to point out is that usually the background scenery is much bigger than the actual image, most of the time, but alot of it gets trimmed out so we can see the characters better.
