I can see her ending up this way. Not from corruption, but simply from not being able to bottle up her emotions any longer. The longer you hold them in, the worse the inevitable breakdown is. Trust me, I lived with a person like this for years. Namely, my father.
 
Venting is important. Don’t deny your emotions, lest they rule you one day.
