@Alexlayer
I always find a relationship more complete when your partner is not too different so you can enjoy the same things and still having some differences to keep it interesting.
I would love to know a little better Coloratura she could have been a real challenge to Rarijack instead of an evil magical new girl like Vignette.

I mean, I ship both, so I wouldn’t complain either way. On one hand, Rarity is a much more developed character and thus more fitting to ship with an equally developed character, and on the other, though she only had one episode, Rara was kinda made for Applejack in a way, and their relationship has so many parallels to the one between Bright Mac and Pear Butter, it almost feels fated.
Ultimately, though, both are really good ships if you ask me.
For about 2 seconds on TV, and she didn’t look like this. It’s not like she’s a regular character where the tag should no longer apply.

Opposites can still find plenty of middle ground (like my otp of Celestia/Discord), though there is a thing as “too different.”
