The Mild West
 
Soarin had just been retired from the Wonderbolts at the ripe old age of thirty-five. He’d built up a lot of money, enough to live the rest of his life in reasonable comfort, but he didn’t really want to just laze the rest of his life away. He decided to travel to some of the more out-of-the-way areas of Equestria, places where the Wonderbolts had never really toured, and one of those places happened to be Appaloosa. They were in need of some workers, and Soarin was surprisingly good at bucking apples for a guy whose childhood had mostly been spent in the clouds. So, he decided that he may as well stay there for awhile. The delicious apple pies may or may not have been a major factor in that decision. He grew close to a number of locals, especially Braeburn Apple, who was ridiculously friendly. The two of them grew very close.
 
Anyway, they’re in love and they solve mysteries together with Little Strongheart when Sheriff Silverstar is busy or otherwise useless.
