Did they force her into this? Was it necessary for the two to swap places or something like that? How come the color alteration? It’s like Mermaid Melody mermaids where some select few mermaids completely change their whole appearance when taking on human form as opposed to only gaining legs like most.

Is there ever going to be an official story for this? These seem very loosely tied together with only hints of continuity.
