Two songs that are intense. “What’s the Use of Feeling Blue” by Patti LuPone as Yellow Diamond, and “Open Up Your Eyes” by Emily Blunt as Tempest Shadow. I believe that both songs are similar. Yellow Diamond sings the former to convince Blue Diamond to cease her grieving over the end of Pink Diamond. The latter song is sung by Tempest Shadow to reveal to Twilight of the true dark realities of Equestria that friendship cannot fix. Yet, you know how the film ends.
