I’m pretty sure that they’re younger than that.

It may be true that the cmc is around 13-15 but the mane six is definetly around 19-26 and even if spike was 13-15 that still classifies as a kid.

Hmm, calling him a kid, especially with the recent spoilers, can be a little subjective considering the show’s tone of with his actual age. They don’t outright state it yet in some episodes he is treated as a ‘baby dragon’ while in others he treated as older or around the age of the CMC which themselves can often be shown as acting like rebellious teenagers especially Sweetie Belle.
 
I put him at between CMC and Mane Six. With the CMC being around the 13-15 range and the Mane Six being around 16-19 range. Which works fine for my headcanon since Rarity herself despite what a lot of fans want to think wouldn’t need to be at a late age solely because of her business as people as even younger age have even bigger businesses then her, they are just very ambition, a lot like Rarity; but I still put Rarity as the age of around 16-19 because Cheerilee is shown to be in school the same time Rarity was and since she is a teacher 16-19 seems fine enough since the youngest age range for a teacher can be is quite broad.
 
The ship work just fine for me. The only way I could ever consider it pedo is if Rarity was manipulating him into doing things he doesn’t want to do. Meanwhile, Spike has been shown on many occasions that simply not true. He loves helping her and the fact that she willingly rewards him on many of those occasions only pushes it further from pedo.
 
Now sure you could consider this a very toxic relationship, but not really pedo.

But even if the species thing wasn’t a problem, he’s a kid.
