Definitely not. Looks too small, the head’s proportionally too big, and the eyes have no pupils. Assuming they do reform Chrysalis (which I find somewhat doubtful, if I’m being honest), I strongly doubt they’ll abandon her tall, lanky shape. It’s too integral a part of her design to ditch.
As it stands, I think the likeliest option at this point is that this is going to be an all-new character.
I hope it’s Thorax’s child.

Chances are, this might be a completely different character.
I doubt they’d utterly ruin a pretty popular and well designed character such as Chrysalis like this. It would be beyond sacrilege.

Turn a cute and cool changeling queen into a generic albino changeling… I don’t see how that is going to be good on Especially after all these years they’ve built her to be the character we know and admire both character wise and appearance wise, she is like an icon in the G4 villain world.
I hope this changeling is going to be just another generic changeling from Thorax’s batch. Maybe his daughter or something.

If someone can’t stay on topic, setting you up with one thing and then playing bait and switch once they get you hooked, a good option is just ignoring them. Works with car salespeople, too. Give it a try.

And that doesn’t change that redeeming Chrysalis AND giving her THAT new design, like an elder or something it’s a fucking BAD idea.

But we saw two changelings dragging Luna out of Starlight’s dream, that proves that’s all it took to capture the Main 7 + the Royal Sisters! (oh, and I guess those ponies over in the Crystal Buy Our Toys! Empire, too)
