Twilight as a young filly, before she became obsessed with magic, has a dream of a powerful, majestic, alicorn sweeping across an endless pool, and as she passes her.. they touch horns and Twilight feels an extraordinary surge of magic through her. To Twilight’s bewilderness, this alicorn is strangely.. familiar. She can’t put her hoof on it, but the beautiful creature was as familiar as her own hoof beat - but she never sees the alicorn again, and it fades to a distant, obscure memory; all but the feeling of the magic that woke her heart.
