@Zincy
I live ina fairly populated area, but we have had very little murders in a span of 10 years. Pretty safe area around here in every crime in general.
@EpicCollision
I’m actually friends with the members in a few really great local bands. Check out the Vailix, Lauren Hoffman and the Secret Storm, Eli Cook, Lester Seal, Phoenix Noir, Alive in the Superunknown, The Falsies, Synthetic Division, and We Are Star Children. Charlottesville has a lot of great bands.
@Zincy
Virginia Beach actually is one of the safest big cities in the nation. Has low rates of rape, assault, and violent crime. It’s quite the surprise to most people as the surrounding areas have a fair share of crime.
Roanoke is a bit more dangerous, but not that bad. Haven’t heard of Lynchburg, so I can’t say much on that.
Virginia and Colorado are both great states, with pros and cons.
@EpicCollision
Our music is better, too. Colorado has The Fray and OneRepublic, while Virginia has the Dave Matthews Band, N.E.R.D., Parachute, and that’s not to mention all Charlottesville’s obscure local bands.

You must’ve been in Richmond or Petersburg.
We have plenty of safe places, like Virginia Beach, Fairfax, Loudoun, and surrounding areas, and plenty of safer small towns.
Virginia is pretty safe. You don’t encounter that everyday.
I guess that’s life in a small town. Definitely a bit too big to know a lot of local bands, or even be in a band around here lol
Oh yeah, I also have a band, though we’re kind of between members.

Lynchburg has Liberty University, make of that what you will.
I live out in the boondocks of Bedford, low crime but mostly because low population.
Hell yeah!

I wouldn’t call Virginia Beach safe, a lot of theft there.
Salem and Roanoke are fairly safe. Bedford and Moneta are decently safe, last murder we had in the area was the WDBJ7 shooting.
Lynchburg isn’t, between the gangs, the rednecks, and that “college”

It’s great here. We got Virginia Beach… ;_;

You clearly haven’t been to the right parts of Virginia.
Edited
it’s ok, he doesn’t need to be able to run, he can just shoot the criminal if they try to run away XD
I can see some 400 lb/ 182 KG person in a fat state being all “OH MOGORSH THEY GOT WEED THAT’S UNHEALTHY.”
Fun Fact: Colorado is the fittest state of the union with an obesity rate of approximately 21%.
