It’s not meant to stand as evidence on it’s own, it’s to stand with the fact that Twilight claimed she had created spells.
 
Weather Abjuration makes sense for a pegasus at least, though Tempus Objectus…
 
Apparently it means Time Barrier/Throw Time/Put Before Time.
 
All of those things sound fairly advanced.

Also, Somnambula’s not a unicorn, so how did she create that one spell mentioned in the season 6 premiere? Unless there’s more than one Somnambula in FiM’s universe (it’s definitely possible)…
Also Meadowbrook, who is an earth pony, was apparently a mage.
You know what would be interesting? If it turned out that back when the three tribes were separate, both the pegasi and earth ponies had their own unique branches of magic, with unique spells, teaching methods and whatnot. Then, after the unification, the unicorn magic became the dominant one because it was more versatile/powerful/easier, so the other two became more rare and sorta died out. It would explain so much about the current Equestria.
 
Perhaps earth ponies can use magic. But they need various provisions such as artifact, magic circles, potions, elixirs, formulas etc in order to do so. While for unicorns, it is inherent that they can just invoke magic with their horns.

Sunburst mentions several spells to force friendship, each named after one of the Legend ponies (this was back in season 6).
 
Since we know the Legendary ponies all eventually meet each other, I’m assuming the spells were actually created by Starswirl, who simply named the spells after them.

HOLY FRAK ALL OF MY YES!!!! Fuck this is what I wanted The Cutie Map to be about. Rumble > Starlight. And the beat was really good too.

Normal is overrated
Marks and Recreation song is amazing.
 
Pipsqueaks and Rumble’s deep voices sorta bugged me.
 
I actually had a headcanon for Rumble being full of himself and now it’s official canon.
