I don't get the reaction.
Gmaplay is being very calm and rational about his dislike for the current narrative, and how its been a pattern with Hasbro.
I mean....the Live action Transformers movie, especially after 1, are well known train wrecks and almost universally disliked, and the GI Joe movies didn't do so well either.
He's not being rude or overzealous about it either. His comments are civil and measured, and express his disgust at a "rocks fall, everybody dies" sort of epilogue for G4 when it comes to G5.
He's making it very clear that he wants to discuss the above image and keep in topic, which is the fate of G4, and that the writing is, well, not exactly very good.
You make it sound like its shocking to hear anyone have disgust for a writing move within MLP. As long as he's being perfectly civil and rationale, his comment is perfectly normal. Your reaction you chose seems kind of ill fitting, as if he was overreacting when he really wasn't.
