To add to my second reply to you now that I see it again, Luna pretty much spent most of her life on the moon due to a 1000 years.
Certainly her time up there outweighed on how long Luna lived before the NMM incident happened.
Its really not right that Luna doesn't get to experience life properly on there with it being cut short like that compared to how Celestia got to.
Luna didn't get to enjoy her time compared to how Celestia got to. Didn't get to enjoy her destiny of raising the moon for much either.
At least Celestia during the 1000 years actually got to EXPERIENCE life and interacted with others and live life, Luna lost a 1000 years of her life by being stuck on the moon.
