The "traditional" anonfilly story has him being transformed against his will shortly after arriving in Equestria by an abusive Twilight who constantly gaslights and tortures him, causing him to develop an intense hatred toward her which leads to his generally rude disposition and disruptive behavior. This ends up in a feedback loop as Twilight then uses his subsequent behavior as justification for her treatment of him, leading to him hating her even more and further escalating his behavior, around and around. She of course hides her abusiveness in public, and has everyone convinced that anonfilly is just "acting out" so that nobody believes him when he tries to tell anyone about what she's doing to him (and when he does try, she of course punishes him.) The only pony in Equestria who knows that he's actually a human male is Celestia, but Twilight prevents him from ever meeting with her because she's the only one who would believe him about Twilight's behavior and so she doesn't know what's really going on.
All in all it's a seriously fucked up story. One of the more fucked up pony transformation stories to come out of 4chan.
