Honestly, while what Jet did was terrible, I still like him more than Delta. What he did was horrible, but at least in the current part of the story, he’s trying to make it up to Delta for it, and it’s quite possible that he told her out of guilt that he forced her to give up her dream. Helps that it seems that it’s the lie that angered Delta and not that she’s practically married to Jet, which at least to me means that they do care about each other romantically enough to be together until Delta learn that Jet got her pregnant on purpose.

oh no…i don’t know how to feel about this. Didn’t expect jet to come with such simple words and not try to make it all look like an accident, neither did i expect that he’d really did this on purpose. Now all the people can say they knew it from their basic understanding.  
Stories like this always go like that, why not make it a bit different this time? Jet would be the one in this turn of events to have regret why he even did it with her that one night.  
Maybe love made him blind…

No sorry, i can understand very well how extremely emotional fictional characters can be effecting you. After all thats the motivation behind fanart and whatnot. Why would you not want others to be so connected to those lovable characters. And getting emotional about it in cases is only human. It’s only human.

I would like to remind everyone that these are fictional characters and that, no matter how you feel about tricking people into pregnancy or the exact details here, it’s really not worth getting frustrated over. If someone has different views about the matter or different morals entirely, well, tough, maybe take it to the forums instead of violating Rules 0 and 7 way harder than you think Jet violated Delta.

Yeah, no. Not apologists. If you assault someone, you can go fyay yourself. My argument is that if you have consensual sex with someone, hoping to get them pregnant, that’s fyayed up, but not assault, because of the whole consensual part. Delta is was and continues to be a big girl. She knows when a boy you love offers to have drinks with you, he’s suggesting more than just drinks. Maybe she didn’t mean to have unprotected sex, but she sure as hell understood he wasn’t suggesting virgin margaritas. Having consented to drinking, well, you’re kind of placing yourself in the trust of the person you’re with not to take advantage of you. Jet… obviously was not somepony she could trust for that.
 
I am not saying, nor have I ever said, that Jet is a good guy. He’s selfish, and foolish, bit of a &*^%. But he’s not the monster some of us seem to want him to be. And Delta is not some delicate thing who couldn’t have fended him off. You’re actually devaluing her as a person by not acknowledging that she is a big part of why her life continues to be miserable. She controls her own destiny, but instead she’s still following the course he set her on, blaming him the whole time.

Jet didn’t want Delta to leave him, so he didn’t use protection one night, and I’m guessing that he told her that he planned on getting her pregnant and told her, my guess being that he felt guilty for it.

So wait why did he want to keep her close and how did she find out?

Fuck Jet, but I kind of still have issues with how she acts towards Apogee. She didn’t want her no, but she exists - and treating her as an extension of Jet isn’t fair to the little ponyo.

Last I checked, alcohol was its own category, and it’s heavily implied that them having sex wasn’t the difference, it was him not using potection that changed.

Thing is… you can feel bad for Delta without calling her a sexual assault victim. She still got tricked into having a baby she wasn’t ready for because she thought it was a mistake on both their parts, and she took responsibility for it. If she’d known going in that he manipulated her in hopes that it would happen, she’d have done any number of things differently. Still doesn’t mean she was assaulted. As twisted as Jet is for doing this to Delta, the sex was consensual.

Both of their cheeks are flushed, they are both grinning like idiots, and as I mentioned before, there is an equal amount of cans empty. I mean, do you really think Delta wouldn’t notice if he wasn’t drinking too? More to the point, it’s not even about being drunk, it’s the fact that both started sober, and I’m pretty sure Delta has had sex with Jet enough to know that having drinks means everything that follows.

Actually, I have seen this page as well and @Feudra is right. Delta is clearly drunk while Jet is drawn as being sober.
 
The only thing I don’t know is how this came to light in the conversation between the two of them on this page. Though it is true that eventually, any secret could come to light. I wonder if Jet ever told anyone about what he did and Delta found out from that party.
