Conversely, a male changeling can deposit unfertilized eggs into the uterus of a mare, where they can then later be be fertilized by a stallion. In either case, the mare then lays the eggs and they hatch.


 
Futas, by contrast, are either doubly fertile as both male and female, or neither, depending on which fanon you subscribe to. But as you describe it, futa Twilight would act as little more than a turkey-baster with some *other* stallion's sperm.
 
Why the very idea of Gleaming Shield receiving sperm that _*isn't_* from her sibling is just... deplorable.
