Lol California. But 90%? Wow, I didn't know that. I knew 16 was in the UK though. And well, at least in the US, the age of consent and the adult age don't always match up. As far as I'm aware though, you're considered a legal adult at 18 here. And the Californian consent age _*is_*, in fact, 18. Some states (i.e.Alabama) even have special laws for school employees, stating that they may not consent to sex with anyone under 19. It's extremely complicated in this country. People here generally just assume though, that if you're under 18, then you're "not legal".
