It IS stupid, but it is ALSO completely natural why talking about Starlight would lead to comparisons with Sunset, +__as I just explained+__.

Just because you and I both think this discourse is futile and stupid...doesn't mean it has any logical reason to end. It is STILL a recipe for disaster, Starlight's failings as a character mirror Sunset's successes; regardless of whether you personally disagree, it's why the fandom brings the discourse up so often.
