Yeah, good ol' CRT TVs.
Funny thing is, some games like "Donkey Kong Country" actually look better on a CTR screen, 'cause they kinda blur the pixels, and blend the colors a bit better. (This is where the "CRT Filter" option on the Classic Edition comes in handy.)
