While it has a couple of other characters in it, it’s pretty heavily focused on Spike; granted, that’s an artist’s take on adult Spike, as opposed to this image’s portrayal of Spike as he is currently depicted in the show. There’s also >>77419, >>847656, and >>883659, which feature Spike and Twilight together. He may be underrepresented in feature images, but at least he’s getting some recognition.
 
I think Apple Bloom is currently the major character that’s most underrepresented in the “featured image” category: she’s appeared in one image with Applejack, one with Sweetie Belle and Scootaloo, one with those three plus Rarity and Rainbow Dash, and one comic with her siblings, plus the usual assortment of “everypony” images. Somehow, I don’t think the ‘booru is worried about her lack of representation. (I mean, I’d like to see her get a solo (or primary-focus) feature, but I don’t think it’s an injustice against ponydom that must be rectified or anything of the sort.)

Spike in all his glory! In all my time on here, I don’t think I’ve seen spike by himself in a featured image before. Or maybe there was one but my memory might be bad.

Wow is this the first featured image that’s had a solo Spike? I can’t remember any others. I guess I could go look but I’m lazy.
