I'm assuming he doesn't mean this year's crop of animated movies, which brought us such **coughs and barfs** wonders as talking emojis.


 
I mean, if we didn't have a Pixar film closing out the year (and it's current Pixar we're talking about, so its quality is more of a toss up than it would usually be), it's actually somewhat likely based on early reaction that this may be one of the best animated efforts of the year.
