Do you have any actual evidence of that? In terms of trend analysis the alt right's rise happened before the extreme left. Also race as a whole is a bullshit pseudoscience so it always falls apart under scrutiny. And yeah people were chanting for genocide, the ones you heard were from the nighttime portion of the rally, the more vile stuff was during the day, you could see it on the streams made by white supremacist figures James Allsup, Baked Alaska, and yet another self-described neo-nazi group Vanguard America (which the murderer James Alex Fields was a member of). Bonus points there were even more Nazi banners, David Duke, Richard Spencer, Chris Cantwell, Rhodesian flags, and ads for Daily Stormer. At one point there was a group of guys chanting "hail victory" which is "sieg heil" translated to English and shouting "gas the jews, race war now". On the bright side we did get to see how smart these nazis are when Baked Alaska peppersprayed himself.
