They both still exist and have experienced a resurgence because of the collapse of the political center ground. We've basically tried every political idea at this point, and they've all failed. There's nowhere left for us to go. Also, the Nazis targeted the Jews because of the mistaken belief that they stabbed Germany in the back and lost them the war.
