I'm familiar with this Primus song. As inspirational as I found it, I still feel like it's a mix of Bass/Rhythm and other tapping parts. It's not quite like Buckethead levels of guitar shredding.


 
Many Primus songs might be a contender but does it really fit the "Shredding" I'm thinking of like Buckethead guitar on a bass? I suppose "Tommy the Cat" (though I don't like the song as much anymore) fits best for "Bass Shredding". Rush's "[YYZ":](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wPYh0k8XdGw) also works like that.
