Quite often other trailers are _*extremely_* early footage and often contain stuff that ends up being cut later and/or contains missing/incomplete special effects.

Sometimes the first trailers to be shown are literally from some of the only footage shot so far.
 
If you've seen Rogue One, go back and watch the first trailer and be shocked at how different it is. A full 50% is either cut or altered. This is partially due to the movie getting a rewrite/reshoot in the middle, but it still exemplifies my point.
