From what I got, Sunset, Flash, Trixie, and Starlight, are old friends in this AU, and they either didn't meet during this comic yet the Mane 6, or don't know them good enough for Pinkie be the one helping out Flash, as Sunset and Twilight only started to get closer in another comic:
